Love Yah

What is love?

Love is the first of the nine fruits of the spirit. These fruits describe Yah’s character: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance.

How did the apostle Paul described love?  1Co_13:4-5  Love suffereth long, and is kind; love envieth not; love vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

The wealth of the poor

The wealth of the poor is not is possessions, it is in the fruits of the spirit that are embedded in their heart by trusting in Yahweh. You may ask, “How can I have hardly anything at all but still have such happiness?” It is because of the spirit of Yahweh within you.

What are the fruits of the spirit? Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the spirit is: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, meekness, and self-control. Against such things there is no instruction. The fruits of the spirit are Yahweh’s character and it should be our goal to have that same character as believers in Him and His son Yahshua.

There are those who act rich, yet have nothing at all; and those who act poor, yet have great wealth.
Proverbs 13:7

May Yahweh bless you as you walk with Him!

What would this world be like if there was only obedience?

If children obeyed their parents and their parents obeyed Yahweh.

Therefore you shall obey the voice of YAHWEH your Elohim and do His commandments and His statutes which I command you today.

Deuteronomy 27:10

Children, obey your parents in YAHWEH, for this is right.

Ephesians 6:1

For He is your life!

to love YAHWEH your Elohim, to listen to His voice, and to cleave to Him. For He is your life, and the length of your days so that you may live in the land which YAHWEH has sworn to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give it to them. (Deuteronomy 30:20)

How far has Israel been scattered?

 Israel … What If?
(the greatest story never told)

Israel. As we read and search the New Testament writings, we find that as Gentiles, we can be grafted into Israel (Romans 9). We know where modern-day Israel is and its geographic boundaries, but that is where we find the Jews (the tribes of Judah, Benjamin, and Levi). So if we are grafted into the “children of Israel”, they have to be a people group. And the children of Israel must be the remaining 10 tribes. Let’s see if we can find them. We’ll start in the New Testament writings to lay sound groundwork:

Why do you celebrate Christmas?

Five reasons why I don’t celebrate Christmas

I stopped celebrating Christmas seven years ago. What is so awesome about coming out of the bondage of celebrating Christmas is that you then discover the appointed times that are commanded by our Heavenly Father Yahweh. Please research the origins of Christmas starting with a few things I have listed below, then pray to Yah and ask Him what is pleasing before His face.

Here are five reasons why I don’t celebrate Christmas:

1) It breaks four commandments: worshiping elohim’s other than Yahweh, idolatry, lying, and coveting. (Commandments 1, 2, 9, 10)
2) Christmas is not mentioned in the scriptures. (The birth of the Messiah is mentioned, but nowhere is it commanded to celebrate a birthday. The magi brought gifts to a King)
3) It is a recycled pagan celebration (Saturnalia)
4) I don’t believe that it is pleasing to Yahweh (Jeremiah 10:1-5)
5) Yahshua was not born on December 25. (Refer to the book “The Star That Astonished the World” by Ernest L. Martin).

O give thanks to Yahweh, for He is good; for His mercy endures forever. 1 Chronicles 16:34

What does that scripture mean to you?  I believe it is kindness and compassion for those in distress. We all have sinned and fall short of His mercy. Because of His amazing love, kindness, and compassion Yahweh forgives us and gives us the strength and courage to get up and try again. What a blessing His mercy is in our lives.

As our Heavenly Father gives us His mercy when we don’t deserve it, let’s try to give that same mercy to others who don’t deserve it. By your kindness, you can bring people to repentance.

Thank you, Yahweh, for Your mercy!
